After the announcement that Bentley Operatic Society will now be performing Made in Dagenham in 2022, the full information about the auditions is as follows.
The society will be holding auditions for all characters on Sunday, December 12 from 12.30 pm with timeslots to be given nearer the time.
We will also be auditioning for our child roles on the same date and timeslots will be given in due course.
We would recommend anyone interested in auditioning for a role to come along to music rehearsals which begin on Tuesday, November 23 at Oakvale URC at 7.45 pm - if you need directions, call 07503 334376
What you need to do for your audition
You must fill out an audition application form which is attached in the audition pack by Monday, December 6. When the forms are returned we will send out timeslots for the roles.
Each audition will require an individual dialogue and singing audition, the songs and dialogue extracts are inside the audition pack folder. The pack also includes character descriptions for each role and their vocal range.

Anyone auditioning should also be available for potential recall auditions on Tuesday, December 14 and all successful roles should be prepared for music rehearsals on the same evening and December 16, December 19 and December 21 before a short Christmas break.
Full floor rehearsals begin in January 2022 with a full rehearsal schedule available in the coming weeks. Rehearsal days are to be confirmed but Tuesday are chorus rehearsals.
